These PDF files give a summary of Rice EMS' operations for the indicated year. They tally everything from number of calls to types of incidents to which Houston Fire Department units responded when HFD was requested. This is the same information that was presented to the Rice University administration at REMS' annual status meeting, and it is being made available to the public in order to better inform them about Rice EMS.

In order to view these files, you must have a program that reads PDFs. For Windows users, Adobe Acrobat (commercially available) or Adobe Reader (free download) will work. Macintosh OS X users will find that the included Preview application will view PDF files, while Linux or Unix users can use one of the many standard PDF-viewing applications included with their distribution.

Statistics for 1996 through 2004 are being collected and converted into web-friendly formats. They should be available soon.

Local Hospitals

This is a listing of local hospitals, their specialties (for example: minor sports injuries, major medical problems, and alcohol intoxication emergencies), and their locations. These files were derrived from the ones made available to all Rice EMS members, and should be used for planning emergency room trips.

REMS is in the process of compiling this information in a web-friendly format, and this page will be updated as soon as that process is complete.
