Rice EMS' Tenth Anniversary Celebration

We are pleased to announce that a dinner gala in celebration of the Tenth Anniversary of Rice EMS will be held on the 30th of March 2007. This event will take place at Rice University's Cohen House, a setting with historical significance as the location of REMS' first successful CPR saves, which led to the much needed support for our founding. Come join us to celebrate our successes and to contribute to our future aspirations and plans to carry on the distinguished reputation of REMS.

This REMS milestone will be marked by a sharing of old memories and pictures, remarks from founding members and administrators, and additional recognition for those who were essential in directing the organization to where it is today. Invited guests include past members of Rice EMS, past and present University administrators who were influential in our creation and continued success, representatives of EMS agencies and hospitals who have guided us along the way, and current members of our department.

The morning following our gala celebration marks the 50th Anniversary of Beer Bike and the establishment of the Rice University Residential College System, making this Anniversary weekend especially memorable. REMS is attempting to arrange a Rice EMS Alumni Tent at Beer Bike. We hope all will stay to support their colleges.

Invited guests are asked to RSVP for the event by the Sunday, 25 March.

Tickets to the event are available for all members of the Rice community. Further details can be found on our donation page.

Questions or comments about the event can be directed to the REMS 10th Anniversary Committee, REMS Anniversary Committee Chair and Operations Lieutenant Dania Daye, or Rice EMS Director Cathy Sunday. It would be a pleasure to hear from you.
